Arcade is Dotcrawl's presentation space for new work as well as content from the archive. It will be programmed on a quarterly basis.

This presentation is based on an article co-written by John Beagles and Dave Beech titled 'Video Purified of Television: On why video art wants to be boring' published in Variant Magazine Autumn 2003, no.18. Some correspondence on the article continued in issue 19. The Beagles dummy presentation was commissioned by Street Level on the occasion of the symposium 'Video>>Art>>Scotland' in 2005.
